Feelings from the Heart?

As I was writing the last post, I began to wonder why we proclaim emotions as coming from the heart. My heart never breaks, twitters with butterflies, or even feels like bursting. My stomach houses most of my emotions and a few of them get expressed in my lungs, where I hold my breath or take it in. It's hard to feel sentimental over a valentine in the shape of a stomach, but if you ever get one, you'll know who it is from!
