Young Love

Jack, the cute fourth grader two houses to the north, mostly avoids H. She is partly to blame since last year while car pooling she would regularly spout I love you to Jack, sometimes within ear shot of his friends. Suddenly this summer, H said Jack was mean and she didn't want to be around him. Jack's mom learned of H's dislike and asked him about it.
"Oh, that's because I am mean to her."
All is fair in love and war?
Jack probably couldn't find his friends last night because he was actually playing with my girls. Mostly they chased each other, teased each other and "fought" each other. I heard a lot of giggling. When I told H to come in, she was chasing Jack down the sidewalk yelling,
"I love you Jack."
"No you don't," he yelled back.
"I love you Jack."
"No you don't"
Oh my.

That is very funny. My boys think that girls are disgusting and gross. All the girls do is talk about Hannah Montana and shopping. Right...like I believe that one.
