It has taken close to a month to record this story, but at least it is recorded. We've never talked about St. Patrick's Day. I rarely remember it is coming and I don't care a€bout it. It seems silly. Maybe if we lived in Chicago and went to see the river turn green? At H's school though they talk about EVERY holiday. At dinner on St. Patrick's day, H had some questions about this green holiday. I didn't have any answers but Cody, the history major, did. He started telling H about how St. Patrick would use a three leaf clover to tell people about Jesus. Cody asked, "Can you think of anything about Jesus connected to the number 3?"
"I know, know Jesus and the two thieves. Three people died on crosses."
Well yea, that's true, but that isn't what St. Patrick talked about. What else?
"Wherever two or more are gathered, there I am with you." I didn't know she knew that verse, those scripture CDs really work.
What else?
"Three wise men came to visit Jesus in the stable."
That's what we say, I don't think the Bible actually says three.
H never came up with the trinity. But now I know she is listening.
