I hope the title of the post isn't offensive to my dear in-laws. I wanted to grab your attention, and really that's what this website I am going to share allows people to do. My sister-in-law and her husband have been trying to adopt for over a year now. They love the agency they are working through but for whatever reason, there are just not many mothers at the clinic who are choosing adoption right now. There aren't many people going to the agency at all. In an an effort to make themselves more widely known, they have published a profile on a website called Parent Profile. Birthmothers looking for a family can check them out and then contact them. I thought I would post a link to their profile on my blog, because you might know somebody who knows somebody....and I think they are great parents.

I love the internet. I can say hi even though I am far away. My Aunt is an adoption laywer - I will pass this on to her. You never know?!?
Jackie! So glad you are almost back!
L,
There is no correct answer to how long you leave the car with children inside and you running errands. Go with your gut. If you have taught the girls not to open the doors to strangers, you are just fine for a few minutes of absence.
I remember this same problem with my kid. Each time I had to make this decision it involved all and more of the emotions you mention.
I think you're just fine with a few short minutes in the store, given all the things you have taught the G's.
Oh well, just old people talking.
