Tidbits

We had family movie night. Popcorn and Kitt Kittenridge. I liked that movie. It wasn't high speed, there are good lessons and values and it's entertaining. I love that time together.

While snuggling K before bed she wanted a back scratch. Then an ear scratch. Then a back scratch, I finally said, "Pick one." She replied, " But you have two hands."

When we first put the girls in the same room to sleep, we found that playing lullabies or calm music dramatically decreased the silliness and talking. Two and half years later, the girls still go to sleep to music. I was singing with the music tonight as I left the room and H says, "Mom, you have a beautiful singing voice." It was sweet but made me laugh inside. I am all but completely tone deaf, can't hear a key change in a song. I am pretty sure Hadley is too, though she hasn't yet realized she can't sing well. I won't be the one to break the news.

We watched Kitt too and I was so happy that the boys didn't moan too much. It is a girl movie, don't ya know? It's always good to just hang out together as a family.
