Why I blog

I don't scrapbook--not enough patience. I do love to write. And I became addicted to writing here. Then my family became addicted to the regular updates. I record my thoughts, life events, reflections on the world. I sometimes write about what I want my girls to know, when they are older, more reflective. For now, to understand my blog, you need to know that Tom is my husband of 12 years, Hadley is my 8-year-old daughter and Kassy is my 6-year-old daughter. We live in a struggling city in Michigan. In some way, I hope this blog encourages you.
